MCT Nickel Plate Trail

The MCT Nickel Plate Trail will be closed Thursday September 4th and Friday September 5th for trail sealing between 162 PNR and Edwards St in Glen Carbon. For your safety, please avoid this section of trail.

MCT Nature Trail

The MCT Nature Trail Connector will be closed Thursday September 4th and Friday September 5th for trail sealing between Rt. 162 and Horseshoe Lake Rd. For your safety, please avoid this section of trail.

MCT Nickel Plate Trail

The MCT Nickel Plate Trail will be closed starting Wednesday, August 20th for cleaning up under the Center Grove Road bridge. The trail will reopen Friday, August 29th. For your safety, please avoid this section of trail during the closure.

MCT Goshen Trail

The City of Edwardsville will be replacing the accessible ramp on the Esic Drive connector to the MCT Goshen Trail starting 7/30/2025. Work is anticipated to take about a week to complete. For your safety, please avoid using this connector until the work is complete.

MCT Schoolhouse Trail

The MCT Schoolhouse Trail will be closing on August 4th, 2025 at the IL-111 crossing to construct a bridge over IL-111. For your safety, please avoid this section of trail during construction.

MCT Schoolhouse Trail

The MCT Schoolhouse Trail will be closed for sewer work starting May 27th from Keebler Road to the YMCA Trail Connector. Pleasant Ridge Park Connector will also be closed during this time. The ramp at Keebler Road and the tunnel will remain open going west. For your safety, please avoid this section of trail during the closure.

MCT Confluence Trail

The MCT Confluence trail will be closed from W. 7th Street to Canal Road starting May 12th, 2025 for reconstruction. For your safety, please avoid this section of the Confluence Trail until the work is complete.

MCT Nature Trail

IDOT will be doing repairs to the IL 111 bridge over the MCT Nature Trail starting September 3, 2024. The trail will need to be temporarily closed at times. For your safety, please avoid this section of trail.
